Is it possible to have waist suppression from the front-to-back of a jacket, without necessarily suppressing from the sides (laterally)?
I think a lot of us would prefer jacket fronts that hugged the front of our torsos better (and didn't hang out or off of our bodies like moo-moo's) without necessarily suppressing the waist from the sides (which creates an odd feminine look). I can't picture mechanically how it would be done though... just skillful use of darts? Is that what those darts from the chest down to the pockets are for?
