If I can't get a Waffle House shirt in camo, what's the point of having one to begin with?

Maybe I'd be safer at my WH in camo...

I can't imagine trying to make sense of this menu at 3:00 a.m. on the way home from a night of drinking.

That's why the photos are so important!

Maybe some restaurants would get more business from the 3am drunk crowds if they had a menu made entirely of pictures, so the patrons could simply point at what they want.

You don't. You either: (a) have a go-to item everytime; or (b) order randomly with the point-at-it appoach. My drunken go-to item is harshbrowns with a cup of chilli. The waitresses (btw, I've never seen a waiter at WH) are so used to people ordering drunk or high that they'll understand you, even when you're incomprehensible.

Thats true. When I'm on the road for work often I hit my stach of Rolling Rock (rip) in my hotel room and go to the WH well after midnight. Fortunatly I am usually staying within a mile of one. I think that menu is designed for children, the elderly, people with eye problems, or those who are happily drunk.

I wonder if they handed out essay forms to patrons @ WH after 2am. If so, where can we find such entries online?

When I have to travel down south for work my favorite places to eat and hang out is at the local Waffle House. I eat any number of things there but my favorite is their smothered and covered hashbrowns and their raisin toast.
I never fail to make a conversation there even at 1am. Anyone else have any experiences with this chain?

It is a requirement that you must be missing at least half of your teeth to be a waitress there.[IMG]

it's like Denny's but imagine you have an aunt or uncle from the south cooking the food for you. and the menu is not as extensive as in a Denny's.
