I got an xs red Spruce tiger for my wife. Fits her dead on, and the color is great. Personally, I really like the variegated striped cuffs, hem and hood lining.

yeah, i think my gf needs an XS for a superfuture slim fit, but she wanted a more regular fit so I got her the S, won't know how it fits her til later today when I go up to SF with her hoodie... hehe...

Aside from the tiger red being a previous season Spruce, are all the other colors this season's (W+H) proper colors/sizing?

The white (non-tiger) is also a Spruce, not W+H. The hoodies are really superb. Let's do this again!

I ordered a W+H Slim Fit Medium and received a Spruce Classic Fit Medium. Wow. Still deciding what to do.

Can anyone tell me if there is any price/quality difference between Spruce and W+H? And between Classic and Slim Fit?

Also - How do you fully open a double zipper?!?

    Thanks.

The Spruce Classic fit medium is terrific - probably my favorite fit, actually. It is slightly wider in the chest and shoulders than the slim fit of the same size, and a tad longer. Other than that (I have both) they are essentially identical, down to the long hem and cuffs. It also has the riri zipper, which I actually like more than the Lampos in the w+h (although those are nice as well. You open a double zip by zipping all the way down, just like a normal zipper.

The w+h and Spruce grey pinstrip hoodies are exactly the same, the zipper aside. And the material composition may be a little different, but you'd be hard pressed to distinguish between the two without the tags and zippers.

I am completely happy with the fit, I am just concerned about the length which reaches right at the bottom end of the orange stitching of the fly on a pair of APC NS's.

When I sit down, it bunches up. This doesn't *seem* like the right fit. I'll post a picture later.

I got two spruces and 0 w+h hoodies. Both have regular sized cuffs (I was expecting long cuffs). The fit is about what I expected. I'm not sure I'm keeping the red versus sending it back. The navy I'll probably keep (even if it's Spruce and not w+h as I ordered... hehe) some crap cellphone pics (sorry it's on the crappiest setting so as to be able to send them via MMS): http://static.flickr.com/117/2881107...945825.jpg?v=0 spruce stickers http://static.flickr.com/115/2881107...ceeed2.jpg?v=0 red tiger front http://static.flickr.com/119/2881107...658ace.jpg?v=0 red tiger side http://static.flickr.com/116/2881107...b5b2f0.jpg?v=0 navy front http://static.flickr.com/107/2881107...ec6c0b.jpg?v=0 navy side http://static.flickr.com/117/2881107...945825.jpg?v=0 cuffs Navy is MUCH slimmer than the tiger. [Okay, I have no idea how to get flickr pics to post, whatever] Nothing you guys don't know, but the tiger is much thicker and stretches more than the solid. It's also not as slim fitting as the solid. Riri's are nice, as you all know. Oh and both are pretty linty off the bat (at least the insides are, my white t-shirt is covered in lint.

The only reason I need to differentiate Spruce from W+H is sizing issues. If I'm receiving Spruce hoodies instead of W+H, the medium classic is going to be too tight in the upper body, probably to the point of being unwearable.

I hope this isn't going to be as disconcerting as I'm thinking it will be.

dude can you get your digicam out and take some better pics of the cuffs? I'll do the same when I get a chance... I only looked at my red one for like 10 seconds and didnt notice unusually short cuffs, plus both of yours are Spruce and the Spruce hoodies from last year all got long cuffs... I think both the red and navy look great... Had you got a W+H medium slim Navy it probably would be way too tight on you actually... Def keep the navy one, a Spruce is very hard to find... the cuffs on the red one look unusually short, kindda weird man... but def need better pics... btw, if you use Flock you can just drag the pics down to the posts, it now even supports bbcode...

The long cuffs on the slim fits is new for this year. The Spruce slim fit had short (or normal, depending on how you choose to look at it) cuffs.

Thanks for clearing that up LAG. I guess in every way possible I got last year's Spruce stock versus this year W+H. I guess I have to make a decision if I'm keeping them this weekend. Well 95% sure I'm keeping the navy. I'm giving the red tiger the weekend to grow on me. Costs a lot just to be something I'm ambivalent about.

^^ Did you want to wear it bigger? If so, I think it looks good. Otherwise, with a size 36 chest I would get a small in the classic.

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying it looks too big?
