I have been reading a lot on the best possible option for a vpn. A paid one. They have suggested me a handful of choices but I am still unsure.

is it possible to get any ideas from here?

TIA

What do you want it for? I can recommend Proton VPN as it works in China (at least in my experience it does). Otherwise if you just want one for local cafes and hotels I recommend buying one of those lifetime subscriptions to something like TigerVPN. I don't think it makes sense to use a VPN at home unless you are doing something you shouldn't be.

Buddy, I will suggest you to use ExpressVPN as it is the most appropriate and comparatively fastest VPN provider. But it's bit expensive from the others. But don't worry my friend I am recommending you the list of best VPN service providers at reliable price.

1- ExpressVPN
2- NordVPN
3- CyberGhost VPN
4- HMA VPN
5- Vyper VPN.

I've wanted to talk about Surfshark VPN (https://surfshark.com). I was recommended to try it and so far I really like it. While it doesn't have many servers, it has some really rapid speeds, at least in my experience. Furthermore, it has a strict zero log policy and is based in the British Virgin Islands so out of the 14-eyes jurisdiction. It also supports unlimited devices so you could share it with your friends. Surfshark has Chrome and Firefox extensions and they are really easy to use, there's also an Android and an iOS app and they are based on the new IKEv2 protocol which supposedly drains less battery. I wish they had a native Linux app though. Anyway, if you want to try it I've found this coupon code earlier VIPDEAL which gives you a 68% discount in total, you just have to apply it at the checkout, pretty cool I think.

However, there are some risks with crappy VPNs. I've found this article and wanted to share.

While we only consider very few free VPNs as a possible alternative to top-notch premium services, we also have to admit that there is no perfect VPN, either paid or free.

Obviously, certain security risks are more common and frequent in the case of free VPNs while some may not even relate to paid VPNs. Let’s see how a VPN that is supposed to protect your anonymity may do just the opposite and risk your virtual as well as your physical security.

These are the 7 most dangerous VPN security issues:

VPN services give a huge added layer of security- services like NordVPN and ExpressVPN encrypt your data so people can data mine you and prohibit people or organizations from actively looking at your data. In fact, NordVPN has a two way encryption for data. This blocks data mining (which I am hugely opposed to). I don't think anyone, especially government has the right to snoop around your data. I use an encrypted email service and I have encrypted text messages on my phone. A VPN service is just another added layer of both security and privacy. With the way things are going in the world, VPN services are almost essential nowadays. Its not about doing shady stuff, its about blocking people from looking at your data.

What do you need VPN for? I mean, for instance, ones are suitable for torrenting, others bring the best security, others are good for Netflix. Check the list with the best vpn for windows 10. There are some options. Read reviews and pick any.

I can see Surfshark has already been recommended and I want to double that. This new VPN player has been gathering positive reviews from all around and it deserves it. As mentioned, the only trouble IMHO is there's no native Linux client, but all other major platforms are covered. Furthermore, you can follow the link to get their Christmas discount, only 1.99$/month for a two-year plan. Depending on what you need it will bypass geo-blocks, mask your IP, encrypt your traffic etc.- everything that a quality VPN does.

We're using Express VPN when traveling in behind the great firewall, as we rely on the G-suite. No great options available really if you're looking for speed.
