1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

A fantastic job, Parker. Thank you.

I say that you do one more week, and the you and I try to convince someone to take the reigns for another week or two. Are you willing?

Don't worry about the index page...I'll take care of that.

    Nice choices, Parker!

Also, I like the shot with Mem Church in the background ... I'm always impressed by the speed with which grass regrows after Commencement.

LOL I can certainly see where you're coming from here... [IMG]

Don't worry, there will always be a lot of PG pics in this thread and there will always be noobs so your ego will be stroked just as you like it, until the end of times.

Don't thank me. I though there was quite a bit of good stuff to choose from this week. Vox, I'll take another crack at it next week, then pass along. It's fun to see if there are any themes that come through the editing. I'm kind of a minimalist so I think I chose stuff in that realm.

I like gdl's picks too. Probably more conversation starters there.

    Sure thing, cap'n.

Thank you. I think that was the most amount of html I've ever done.

    That's a great idea.

I appoint you for next week. When you're done, you appoint the next person, and so on.

I still think focusing on the daily column would be the best thing.

How do I get appointed to do something? I will judge the shit out of anything you point me at.

What's up WAYWNers!? You are looking at my second (and last) installment as guest editor of Vox's Weekly "Subjective and Totally Unfair" Digest: week ending August 21. Summer doldrums??? You decide! My filter as usual is "I can see myself wearing this" but in a couple cases simply "Hey, that's pretty cool." By coincidence the next editor happens to be this week's Pick o' the Week. We'll see where this thing goes. Roll 'em: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] My Pick of the Week: [IMG] Sidebar1: Keepin' Kool Kasual Korner [IMG][IMG][IMG] Sidebar2: Details, Details, Details [IMG][IMG][IMG] Phat Guido's Thought of the Week™: Gaz and Gshen had better not touch my cigars and scotch. Well, the good stuff, that is. [IMG]

Yoyo (yfyf), can we convince you to do the Guest Editor honors the next week or two?

FARK Bill, now you've done it. He'll be jerking off to you calling him yoyo for weeks on end.

This is going to be so rad. I will wield my power neither wisely nor fairly. I will start by excluding gazman and anyone else who crosses me [IMG]

Seabass regularly calls me yoyo, I always assumed his keyboard layout put "o" next to "f" and it's a typf.

    - or yank yank?

The possibilities are endless and incomprehensible, like Transformers 2.
