1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Correct. It is a RTW suit, but you need that body, thin and tall, to pull it off.

I was travelling, so I couldn't answer the question concerning the suit's make.
Like I implied in an earlier post I got it from edmorel, this one is a Dunhill suit made by Zegna.
I'm not tall btw. 180cm, but very thin though.

As a photo op, yes. But not when you consider that LK will eventually have to don that ugly helmet when underway.

    I hate helmet laws.

    Not in the China.

On my first trip to Beijing I was in the back of a car from the airport to the city proper, well one of the ring roads, anyway and a van only missed my car by metres and ended up plowing into the one behind us. The driver turned to smile at me and kept driving as if nothing had happened :-S

They are even better--they are called ULTRA-Goliaths by a brand called Rothschild Ltd. Apparently they are handmade, but I'm not sure what this company is.

Too bad it wasn't you getting rear-ended. The guy might have been drunk and then you could have forced a couple of bribes out of the counterparty! Ahh China...

In any case, I think this sort of high speed mayhem is impossible in Beijing these days since traffic seems to move slower than the pedestrians.

The driving experience in China is only slightly better than that of Italy.

Good point. I went to the Amalfi Coast once and thought I would die there, reasonably well dressed but also broken into many little pieces.

Had the same experience in and around Lenno. Crumbling 1 1/2 lane roads + tour buses + impatient Italian drivers + sheer drops and/or buildings set less than 1/2 meter from the road = good times! Anywhere in the middle / near east in infinitely worse though. I'll take Italy over Almaty any day.

I'm hardly one to nitpick LK, but that mustard shirt and khaki hat really wash him out.

    I made the lineup! YeS!
