1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Two weeks missing the cut. I'll go crawl into my cave now.

    You haven't posted for two weeks, AFAIK. If you did, I missed it.

    Hell, he looks good enough to be a sommalier.

    Needs a tastevin or a gold pin of grape clusters.

    No yfyf vest?

    I'm holding out for the full suit...I expect nothing less than the full Puyi, but we hope, with a better outcome.

    Is a sommalier a sommelier from Somalia?

    I know our mythic history, King Arthur's and Sir Caradoc's;
    I answer hard acrostics, I've a pretty taste for paradox,
    I quote in elegiacs all the crimes of Heliogabalus,
    In conics I can floor peculiarities parabolous;
    I can tell undoubted Raphaels from Gerard Dows and Zoffanies,
    I know the croaking chorus from The Frogs of Aristophanes!
    Then I can hum a fugue of which I've heard the music's din afore,
    And whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense Pinafore.
    Then I can write a washing bill in Babylonic cuneiform,
    And tell you ev'ry detail of Caractacus's uniform:
    In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
    I am the very model of a modern Major-General.

    Thank you for this thread. I no longer have the patience to wade through dozens of pages on the WAYWT thread so I just check this one every week.

    You're welcome. I warn you, however, that my monthly summary fails to capture all the worst.

    Thanks again, Vox. IIRC, don't you have something from Keefe?

    Wow. I've made it two weeks in the past month. I guess I'm doing something right (on occasion)! Thanks Vox!

    Is this one of those cheap Land's End bags?

    If it is, I might have to get one myself.
