Not very exciting but this is how I dress most of the time.

It's not meant to be you at your best rather you at your 'you-est'. Of course, we all want out 'you-est' to be our best or how we would like to be seen, but it isn't necessarily the case. As HF said, this challenge has various pscyhological aspects, I think including testing both our self-knowledge and our honesty... you've really got to watch out for these psychiatrists! i think you missed my point. what i was saying was that based off of what i have seen from tchoy, i would have thought his "you-iest" would have been a suit. hence my comment that you cant always believe everything you see on the internet, meaning, just because what i saw lead me to believe that he was more of a suit man, does not mean that that is correct, espeially as he is not a daily fit poster.

which ties back to what i said before, this is the kind of thing that will make voting less than simple.

    ---

cleav - exactly what i would have expected from your british self.

I was more expanding on, or moving sideways from, what you said that trying to contradict it.

(And I made the point about how difficult it will be to vote on this back on page 3, so on that we agree as well).

I like blue suits, I like blue striped shirts, I like striped ties best of the "big families"; I like brown shoes, I like linen pocket squares in a TV fold.

This might not be me at my abbsolute me-iest, but it comes pretty close.

So, for a number of reasons, I am bowing out from this FC. However, I would be very interested in seeing what people would have expected me to go with for this FC. Feel free to post up or PM me with fits that you think are most "me," to satiate my never ending narcissistic needs.

    Kthnxbai!

I'll play. Since I've never been able to figure out an easy and reliable way to shoot good photos, my WAYWRN shots have been few and poor, so posters around here probably don't have a good idea of my typical mode, so I'll try to describe some of my choices here.

I like striped and otherwise patterned clothes, and I like using underutilized colors that I think should be used more. Hence the pale green striped shirt. I love paisley, hence the tie. For practicality, I always wear a tie bar, or, on rare occasion, pin. I don't like my tie flying around. I like seasonal jackets, which means tweed in winter and linen in summer. And while I do have wool and linen trousers, the vast majority of the time I wear an odd jacket, I grab a pair of chinos. And burgundy penny loafers are, of course, the perfect shoe. That is obviously beyond dispute.

Incredibly unenlightening paragraphs aside, here's the photo.
