Virgil boots came in today from Haven. Lovely pair of boots. Go well with smaller hems

Any one able to comment on whether the valdez 22 has a visvim patch on the removable fur lining? I saw Visvim Trading Post's video and the fw17 valdez had it. Have they done away with this patch for the fw22 non ICT version? Many thanks in advance.

I Have 6 pairs of Skagway and never had an issue. These are my most worn from a few seasons ago and no separation of rubber. Yet.

Anybody rocking the TWO boots from recent seasons? How’s the sizing?

I would recommend trying them on rather than taking a leap of faith. They are a lot less forgiving on sizing due to lack of options to tighten specific areas (no laces, etc)

I went TTS on mine and am relatively happy. They were a bit tight at first but loosened up properly.

Appreciate the advice. Yeah, trying them on in store is probably not something I can do now. Might not be worth the risk. I do have wide feet and typically wear US11.

These you have to try on. Prefer 1/2 up instep-wise but don't have heel (slight) slippage ocd

I have a pair of T.W.O boots and would not recommend for wide feet. Sizing up will cause lots of heel slip.

Thinking of buying the Skagway with the double soles. Heard some chatter on the thread that the soles are not reliable? Is it best to buy the non double sole Skagway? Been years since I purchased Visvim footwear. Thanks!

I only have one pair of G.Patten (thicker) Skags and probably won't be getting any more. Although I like them, they are not as versatile as the normal Patten (lower) Skags. If this is your first pair I would stick to the normal Patten Skagway. The problem with Skagway is that once you've had a pair, I find it hard to wear Con's. They feel so thin and cheap in comparison, Never had Addict Cons so maybe they are a closer match. I think it's more about the sole thickness and the general feel/quality of the shoe that blows Cons out the water.
