any comments on the width of Virgils? I’ve heard they’re narrow but not any comparisons to the wearer’s Brannock width

Virgils are comfy TTS for me and my feet are slightly wider than average. For comparison, a lot of newer Adidas/Nikes are much too tight for me at my usual size

Check the spreadsheet on page 168 for more deets:

Thanks for the spreadsheet link. I have really narrow feet which makes sizing a pain **********.

Do mud dyed shoes specifically Skags require you go up in sizing from your normal size?

Does anyone want to buy my SS 101XX JKT DMGD-1007 before I list it on grailed? It's a size 3, worn just a couple times - I have the bag and tags still. I'll let it go for $850.

Hey guys, just a couple of sizing questions from a Visvim noob here. Would really appreciate some advice from people who are more familiar with the brand.

1. Skagways (more recent iterations): size down by .5, or by 1?

(I'm a size 9 in Virgils, FBTs and Flynt Hi. But I bought a pair of Skagway slip-ons in size 9 and they're definitely too big ... So for more recent Skagways in general, would I size down to an 8.5 - or perhaps 8?)

2. Six-Five Parka (giza C/NY): size down by 1?

(I'm a size 3 in Black Elk flannel, Deckhand jacket, Iris liner vest, Amplus hoodie, regular sublig tee... although I found the sublig jumbo in size 3 was too big. Whereas the 101 dry-damaged 999 in size 3 is a tad too slim for my liking ... So would I likely be a size 2 in Six-Five parka? And does the Six-Five look a bit silly on short-ish people? I'm around 5' 9" / 175cm, and 138lb / 63kg)

3. 101 denim jacket: size up by 1?

(as noted above, I found my usual size [3] to be a bit too slim for the 101 dry-damaged 999 ... So for 101s in general, I'm guessing I'd be a size 4?)
Cheers!

1. I'd just get your normal size for Skagways, not sure about the ones with the extra thick soles though.
2. Also I think it's up to you but I found getting my normal size worked fine for this. I think others say you have to size down 1-2
3. Size up by 1

depends on the specific model of Skagway. For the Pattens with the logo on the sidewall that don’t have the layered sole, I sized down .5 from my Nike size and could probably go down an additional 1/2 size. The G. Pattens with the thick layered soles I haven’t tried myself, but I read here that they fit smaller than the regular Pattens.
