Anyone picking up anything from the first release this week?
Just got the SS18D29. ( have the D27 in same, great dmg processing ) and SS101 CMYK. Safe, high mileage bets.

101xx jacket in a dry pique cotton, kinda looks like whipcord from pics. Really not much different than the spot iteration from this season, though I didnt try to confirm

edit: covered^^
Whenever it comes out, I'll have the 101xx ultimate (in a size up) from this season and can share pics in comparison with my 101xx d-1006

I think from ss22 there were 3 101xx iterations:
-dry ss dmgd
-ss dmgd
-dry pique

None had crash processing to my knowledge, just paint and light distressing. Though if I remember correctly the dry pique was labeled as crash?
Not tried on any 101XX - I wear regular 101's in size 3 with just a (LS) T, who size would you recommend 101XX wise ?

Edited this comment a few times because sizing is complicated for the 101xx- its cut generously, and there is more freedom to how it can be worn imo. As a rule of thumb: measurements are roughly the same length wise, but the arms and chest are more ballooney which thankfully doesnt require a size up like the previous generations.

Thanks, its the ballooney sleeves I am hesitant about - clearly need to try this in person

Not sure, but I think the cowichan was like JPY 350,000+ so the Amplus is potentially around that (although I don't think it's N.D. so maybe a bit cheaper)

oooo ok~! yes saw the cowichan is 420k + tax!

I think ballooney sleeves is the whole point of getting it tbh. It fits like a 90s sweatshirt, which is exactly what i was hoping for. I'm a size 3 in current 101 and size 2 in all the roomy jackets (coach, six-five, OG thorson). I got a 2 in this.

If you're concerned about baggy sleeves, maybe consider a jumbo? store staff told me bagginess goes 101 > jumbo > 101xx. I've not tried on a jumbo so can't confirm.

Has anyone shopped with The Real Real before?

How can a Strabler be sold for £440!
Trr has no idea on how to price visvim. I've seen down sanjuro go for $175, Virgil for 125. A mud dye iris jacket went for 375 recently I think. People have caught on as any very mispriced piece will go in about 5 seconds of it being put up recently.

Yeah I'm half tempted to buy the subscription just to get a headstart! Any idea where they get the stock from?

Consigners selling out of their own closets. All the stock must be coming mostly from California because when TRR was mostly NY based you'd see like 1 vis piece a month. Now they get a couple a week. I can't imagine the ppl selling it were happy with trr pricing some of the stuff so low but if they were selling it on trr they probably did not care that much anyway.
