Last I asked, through Exposition, there are two kinds of resoles. One was about $200 and it’s done locally by Willie’s in LA, the other was a lot more and involves sending it back to Japan/China.

Japanese retail is on another level in terms of customer experience. Visvim Exposition in LA is more akin to shopping on rodeo drive (or other luxury stores) than typical Japanese retail. If you’re one of their main clients, they’ll be buddy buddy with you. otherwise they maintain this elitist, gatekeeper attitude that makes it difficult for people that are genuinely interested in the brand, the store, or anything in between, to enjoy the experience of shopping and getting to know the brand. It’s why I personally don’t buy anything from them anymore and basically just through other authorized retailers.

Wat. I've been to the LA store like 4 times, never bought anything there but got great customer service every time. The SA's seemed happy just to talk to anyone who had more than just a passing interest in the brand. FIL Tokyo definitely felt a lot more sterile/serious in comparison

Anyone interested in a pair of Brigadier Folk Sand in size 10?

brand new, never worn. Didn’t quite work out for me with my big EEE feet.

they’re literally brand new. Tried them on out of the shipping box and was like, nope. Didn’t even bother trying to walk in them.

$650 shipped in USA if you’re interested! I got a good deal so passing it along.

Like the look of the 3/4 Crash sweats. 60k yen though may be a bit steep, even for me!

the NY Boutique scene has really suffered in recent years. The only really strong one left imo is Blue in Green. They don't carry Vis of course but great selection and really friendly staff.

Would anyone happen to know if the gila’s sizing is more in line with FBTs, Brigadiers, or any other style?
