Such an awesome detail. You can’t really tell from the original product photos the intricate fabric and layers, but in person it’s another level.

Yeah your close up shot of it is great. I was like "hot damn that's a lot of detail in there".

Last two weeks were brutal - this ICT tunic came in while I was camping, and on my way out of the woods I picked up some nasty poison ivy so I haven't even been able to put it on until today now that things have calmed down.

This tunic is so good. Can't see it from far away but it's a bunch of patched up bandanas. So many shots out to @shopcanoeclub and Chase for helping get the size right.

Hello there!

Not too long ago I spent a semester abroad in Japan and I fell in love with the country.

While I was there, I also got to explore visvim. Spending time in the stores, touching the products and doing more research about the brand changed my perception of visvim. It altered from it being an interesting, but too expensive brand, towards it being a brand which is expensive, but in a way worth it.

Recently I wanted to buy myself a pair of mud-dyed ICT Virgils. I love them not just because of the beautiful color and the interesting production and dying process, but also because how it connects me to Japan.

With the shoes having been immersed in the mud of Japanese rice fields for many days, I will, in a way, always walk on Japanese soil wherever I go and it will remind me of the beautiful time I've spent there.

Then I bought myself a pair on Grailed and I got scammed. lol

Now I am pondering if I should get a pair of www.humanbehaviour.com (http://www.humanbehaviour.com.hk/sh...d=1161381307749&productId=1553050455170121052)

It's of course more expensive than the Grailed deal, but I get a brand-new pair and I can start the wearing/ aging process myself which is also kinda intriguing.

Also, I will be less prone to getting scammed. (HB is still legit, right?!)

So the question is:

Would you recommend waiting for another iteration of the mud-dyed Virgils to be released in visvim's online store, wait for another deal on Grailed, or to buy the shoes of a proxy like Human Behavior?

Thank you for the help!

P.S. Sorry for the long text.

At least in Japan, the mud-dyed ICT Virgil/Grizzlies releases usually sell out immediately. I'm not sure they even allocate any stock to the online store. I think HK pre-orders and then cancels based on what they can get availability on.

If you're going to pay full retail, the boots are $100 (without tax) or so more expensive in the United States and stock tends to stick around for a bit longer.

ICT Mud Dyed Virgils are the mood. So good and comfortable and will only get better with time. Exposition had a good size run for a bit and would be wary of Hong Kong resellers especially since there’s no longer a FIL store there. You don’t want to end up with a replica.

Best of luck finding a pair!

Yeah these are amazing. Kicking myself for not pulling the trigger when I saw them in stock online.

Hey all, it's my first time posting here (after having lurked, sans account, for years) I see no reason why not to finally jump in. Unsurprisingly, with a question; how is the sizing of the Social Sculpture 01 Slims vs. the 10s? I've been looking at getting a pair of D17s, but I'm a little worried about which style would fit best. (For reference, I'm a TTS 29 waist and 5'11")

Vis has a size chart on their website for each of the different cuts. 10 is the skinniest cut they offer and it is also somewhat cropped. 01 slim is going to have a much bigger leg opening than the 10 so just depends on how you plan to rock em.

Many thanks! I've been studying that chart non-stop, but my only personal frame of reference I have is my pair of 01.2R (30W, 32L), which, unexpectedly, swallowed up my legs. So I've been wary of pulling the trigger on my next purchase.
