I had the same issue with mine recently. I tried cleaning it with vinegar, but the white stains would just reappear a few weeks later. So, I went to the store to ask about it, and was told that it's not mold but rather residual oils used to condition the leather during tanning. Apparanetly, these oils can come to the surface due to changes in temperature and humidity. You can use a hairdryer to melt the oil and then wipe off the excess with a cloth. I just brushed it off with a horsehair brush, and it hasn’t come back since.@grs did you ever give the 1:1 water/vinegar a try on your Grizzly's? Right on. So you did the hairdryer/wipe or brushed them (or both)?I had the same issue with mine recently. I'll give this a try too. I did the vinegar and it actually worked but yeah it comes back. I believe someone actually suggested this about the oils rising to the top of the leather's surface when I originally asked for help.Just brushed, only learned about the hairdryer method later and haven't had a chance to try it
Just thinking. This will, if it continues, screw up footwear shipments for Vis surely?Hopefully Japan isn't next for you guys. 🥺

Not sure if this helps, but I'm a US13 in most shoe brands but can get into a US12 in Poundmakers, Skagways, Grizzlys, and FBTs relatively comfortably. I've tried both the Landers and the T.W.O boots, and couldn't get my heel to sit into the boot (like not even close). I wouldn't describe Landers as wide at the opening but since I couldn't get my foot into the boot I can't really comment on the toe box space.Anyone have the Landers Boots-Folk and can comment on sizing? How do they compare to Virgils, Brigadiers or Poundmakers in terms of width and toe box space?
If anyone gets the wabanaki boots pls comment on the fit ❤
Thanks for the insight! I’m also a 12/13 in most brands, but my issue is having wide feet. I can usually fit pretty comfortably in wider silhouettes like Poundmakers, 7 Holes, Grizzlies, or almost any moc-toe styles, but I have to swap out the insoles in Skagways for more space and can’t fit into FBTs at all.Not sure if this helps, but I'm a US13 in most shoe brands but can get into a US12 in Poundmakers, Skagways, Grizzlys, and FBTs relatively comfortably.
