How about that hahaha I will give it a try at some point, thanks !
@grs did you ever give the 1:1 water/vinegar a try on your Grizzly's? I just picked some up used (but like new) and am experiencing the same issue with the white discoloration.

I had the same issue with mine recently. I tried cleaning it with vinegar, but the white stains would just reappear a few weeks later. So, I went to the store to ask about it, and was told that it's not mold but rather residual oils used to condition the leather during tanning. Apparanetly, these oils can come to the surface due to changes in temperature and humidity. You can use a hairdryer to melt the oil and then wipe off the excess with a cloth. I just brushed it off with a horsehair brush, and it hasn’t come back since.

Right on. So you did the hairdryer/wipe or brushed them (or both)?

Just brushed, only learned about the hairdryer method later and haven't had a chance to try it
I'll give this a try too. I did the vinegar and it actually worked but yeah it comes back. I believe someone actually suggested this about the oils rising to the top of the leather's surface when I originally asked for help.

Anyone have the Landers Boots-Folk and can comment on sizing? How do they compare to Virgils, Brigadiers or Poundmakers in terms of width and toe box space?

Not sure if this helps, but I'm a US13 in most shoe brands but can get into a US12 in Poundmakers, Skagways, Grizzlys, and FBTs relatively comfortably. I've tried both the Landers and the T.W.O boots, and couldn't get my heel to sit into the boot (like not even close). I wouldn't describe Landers as wide at the opening but since I couldn't get my foot into the boot I can't really comment on the toe box space.

True to Virgil size but a bit narrower in the forefoot. Size up half if you need width but heel might slip a tad. I went with 10, my Virgil size, and they're fine but a bit snug in the toes. I also have fairly wide feet.

Thanks for the insight! I’m also a 12/13 in most brands, but my issue is having wide feet. I can usually fit pretty comfortably in wider silhouettes like Poundmakers, 7 Holes, Grizzlies, or almost any moc-toe styles, but I have to swap out the insoles in Skagways for more space and can’t fit into FBTs at all.
Unfortunately, stores here rarely have size 12 in stock. I saw a pair online, but I want to be sure about the fit before pulling the trigger. Appreciate the heads-up!
