Has anyone had any luck replacing the zipper on their pair of '73s? Lately the zip's been getting stuck on the left boot and the teeth separating on the right.
Thinking it should be a straightforward visit to a cobbler (or tailor? since it's attached to the fabric part?) but wanted to double-check in case there were any hurdles that I'm missing

I browsed back through the thread and didn't see anything about it. Has anyone had any luck repairing/resoling suede Virgils? I have an older pair that have ripped near the welt and was just told by a cobbler that they couldn't fix them because of the heel stabilizer.

I had the same problem with my grizzly, FIL said they could fix it so I guess any skilled cobble as well ? If the zipper is stuck just rub a pencil on the teeth, this will help to smoothen the sliding (the graphite contained in pencil is an excellent lubricant)

If i'm usually a medium (sometimes large), would size 2 or 3 on the Mies coat be recommended? I've never put on Visvim outerwear. Height 5'11, weight 165lbs.

Does the Visvim web store regularly show stuff as in stock when it isn't? Tried to proxy 15ss brown suede virgils from the Japan web store only to be told they aren't available (even though it still shows sz 10 on there)

someone find me brown suede virgils (without a colorful TPU) ... maybe I should just wait till SS16.

Edit: Update, so it was an issue with the proxy, not Visvim. Have now kopped
