Hi want to ask how's people's experience getting stuff from pancho shipping to US. Do you need to pay any custom/tariff/tax?

I was curious about this too, and found that that their Terms and Conditions reads:

"VAT is included in the product price when ordering from within the EU.

VAT is not charged when ordering from outside the EU. Import fees may be added upon destination import, and must be paid by the customer. Please visit your Countrys Customs information site for more exact information."

Not sure about import/custom fees though.

VAT is excluded but he won't mark down. You can ask but I wouldn't expect it.

not sure about Pancho but normally anything over $850 is subject to customs and duties. A lot of times you’ll see the T&S say they will cover duties but USA is usually exempt as the customs officers won’t release the package until they get paid and usually hold the shipping service liable. It doesn’t hurt to reach out directly to the stockist, usually they will offer you a voucher for the difference that you can use as shopping credit.

Speaking of Wallis down shirts - I got the ICT sashiko release. Went for my normal size 3. Love the fit, but as others say it is slightly tighter around the shoulders and arms due to the padding.

Thanks everyone! So sounds like import fees are inevitable. Anyone has past experience how much % it would be? Also honestly asking for a voucher for the import fee sounds too good to be true.

It depends on the item that is imported as different goods + country of origin have different duty fees. Expect to pay something like 10%

Wallis sashiko looks awesome. For whatever it's worth I have never had USPS charge import fees -- it always happens with private shipping companies like DHL / FedEx / UPS. I think the post office gets too much volume and can't be bothered to check everything. Then again I'm in a large city so it may vary on location. But try to select EMS shipping if you can!

I have spoken to him on and off enough on IG to ask and he has proposed marking down/helping out. Depends on size of basket maybe.

But yes post Brexit it is why I rarely order from the EU now.

Reading back in the thread a bit and noticed a bit of discussion about how Visvim's patterns have changed dramatically from 'back in the day', I thought I was under the influence of some kind of Visvim ambrosia for thinking that their items had actually 'gotten better' as time has gone on, whereas for many brands it seems to be the inverse. Is this still a stance y'all align with?
Also, I'm so grateful to live in a city that's getting the new ICT items, it will be fun to check it out in person!
