Has anyone ever ordered from baltini? Looks like a third party that ships products from boutiques in Italy? Can’t tell if it’s a trustworthy site but it has something I want haha.
How did you get on with this order? I'm looking at it myself.

I think it was ok. Shipping was fast. Only question I had was that the tunic I ordered came in a clear plastic bag, which I thought was only an ICT thing? But it looked and felt just like the tunic I had seen in a local shop, so I didn’t think much more about it.

Cheers. I found the original retailer so am going to see if I can get it direct.

On a side note, has anyone seen a size 4 Harvey JKT knocking about? Ideally in green.

Also, has anyone had experience with the Deerskin dugout or shacket? Keen to know if the former is at all breathable.

My oldest item (2012 fluxus 03 dark mud) was ruined in the wash today. Not sure how/why considering we never use bleach. I had some nice fades and repaired 3X. Bummer!

What type of detergent did you use? I hand washed a Lhamo a while back with the laundress and somehow got two very small bleach stains on it. Still not sure how they came to be or if the detergent was the factor.

You could just redye it. I've done that with some of my clothes before.

Interesting, I’ve never done that. Re-soak the whole pants in something, or what was your process and products? I wonder if I could find some natural indigo. Home made overdye haha

Just regular tide plus tide laundry scented beads things. I was well past treating these gently but the weird part is nothing else in the load was bleached and I’ve washed these more times than I can count. Maybe something interacted with the natural dye. Weird.

I've used rit to redye black clothes a number of times. In your case, you might need to do multiple dye treatments to even the faded out areas.

There's obviously some risk of ruining the clothes even further, but if it's already past the point of you wearing it again... might be a fun home project.

I’ve used Dylon for dying clothes before and worked well. It’s trickier if dying to get a non black colour as the dye will mix with the colour of the garment itself so won’t always come out how you want

but when I’ve dyed stuff black never had any issues. Sometimes had to dye twice to get them fully black though.

dylon and rit have a bunch of colours to choose from.
