Hey y’all, anyone know if the Virgil’s cork (first pic) + leather (lighter, top area in second pic) footbed is removable (and if so, the best way to remove them)? I’m tryna fit some orthotics but they’re too tight as is.

easily remobable, just pull them away! they are lightly stuck, they won't even tear apart. insert a knife in between the heel pad and the heel counter and push. i have removed plenty of them cuz i.am a big 12 and that's my only option with some models. even the models using full insoles are removable (isdt, cochise, two boots, willys).

Oh amazing, thanks! Is that both for the cork and the leather (second pic)? Or just the cork?

anyone have a pair of grey Roland Jogger laces you’re not using that you’d part with for $$$? My Roland’s didn’t come with them and I’d like to use grey laces.

alternatively if anyone knows where I can find some waxed flat laces that are the same tone of grey please lmk.

Decided to keep the alta. When i got it, felt like i might have preferred black or olive but it's grown on me. It's warm and roomy enough for a baggy hoodie. I rarely go against the intended fit of my size, but this one might be one that I could size down and not feel like it looks off. I dislike the leather drawstring stoppers, would prefer spring clips.

I think I've been lucky as none of my skags have had issues (yet).
