Does anyone know what the sizing is like for visvim virgils? I wear 8.5 in nikes and I'm not sure if I should go for size 8 or 9.

If the stains don't come come out, you can just say you gave the boots extra character.

none of the leather I sprayed on has any mark on them, I use jasonmarkk repel. although when I tried it on some suede, it changed the texture and it is not as smooth anymore. so i wouldn't recommend that.
What spray product did you use? let me know if saphir works, could come handy in the future.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like it depends on when they were made(toe shape seems to be a good indiciator). I have a an older pair from probably 2012 with the slimmer/flatter toe and I got in a 9, which is my Nike and Vans size. I couldn't imagine going any smaller and having them feel comfortable with thick socks, but then I have wide feet. That also seemed to be the consensus on SuFu at the time too. And I remember when I was talking to YMFY recently, he mentioned his older Virgils all ran small too(same size as me). However, people here have mentioned going down on the more recent models that have a fuller toe.

Yeah I think it's about time I got a pair of virgils. Those fits the bill! I guess these typically sell out quickly and the best way to get them is preordering with a jp proxy or so?

Ever since I knew they existed and I read up on kangaroo leather I've wanted a pair of kangaroo Virgils, wondering if they'd be released again. I guess time to save up!? They look so amazing in that picture. I've never bought anything from visvim before should I try to get them for less than retail or something?

Waiting for someone to take a front close up picture of the classic bomber in the background...

...leaning towards the lightest color brown for the kngr virgils, but the darker ones look good too, damn...

...and that shot of the PFD looks way better than the stock photo, wow.
