But is medium-hot water a bad idea? I'd like to shrink this down some.

For what it's worth, there's a separate stitched lining inside of the sweater, if that makes a difference. It feels like brushed cotton.

You'll be fine. I've shrunk stuff that way before by simply soaking it in really hot water (steaming) in a bucket, pretty delicate stuff, too. Just make sure to dry it properly (lay flat) and it'll be OK. If it worries you though and you're not happy, I'd return it.

As someones fairly new to this brand I have a general question, why are the denim jackets as expensive as they are? They're priced slightly above Saint Laurent which has ridiculous brand cache. Also with a garment like a denim jacket I don't know how relevant construction is because plenty of 70's vintage Levis truckers can be found. They aren't worn as hard as jeans for example which are liable to crotch blowouts and unintentional tearing. Is it related to Kanye?

depends if you lok at prices in Japan or abroad ? Japan prices are on par with other similar brands (slightly higher I reckon). nothing related to Kanye, but more to the R&D, marketing and PR (look at the showrooms and trunk shows they organize). And Hiroki's car collection.

Been a very Visvim-ish week for me... got some Brigadiers, and then the Hendee I proxied from YJ a while ago finally arrived (shipping took an infernally long time).

Many thanks to @Fycus for the advice / heads up on the Hendee!

sz 2 fits pretty snug in the shoulders / upper arm, so probably going to stay fairly light on layering

I also applied waterproof sprays on all my CPs but never on my visvim
it looks like that the liquid dried out and stuck on the leather.

did you manage to remove the stains ? I was advised to apply Saphir Renomat, I will get it on Monday and make a tes on the inside of the heel first, to see if it affects the color or not.
