This is a vintage yixing teapot from 1970s-1990s, and is in excellent condition. This pot is made from Duan ni clay, one of the three kinds of famous yixing clay (zini purple clay, zhuni red clay, and duanni yellow clay). Duan ni clay is softer and more porous than the other two kinds of clay and is said to soften the harsher flavors of some teas, giving the tea a more rounded taste. Possibly made in Yixing Factory 1 (bottom stamp reads "Yixing China"). Pot holds 200ml, good for 2 or more people Gongfu tea. Asking $50 Shipped anywhere or BO.
