I'm looking to purchase my first timepiece and need some insight and help as to where to start looking. My budget is $1000 and I'm leaning towards IWC, Girard Perregaux, Omega, and Longines. I prefer simple, elegant, vintage, designs. Where do I begin? Many thanks.
