Universal Geneve Tri-Compax "Evil Clapton"

Picture courtesy of Bazamu, one of the best vintage watch collectors on the internet. His collection is mind-blowing.

I forgot all about the Nina Evil Nina and Eric Clapton. Great call! I may need to update my top 3.

The patina on the dial is wonderful. Congrats. I may need to pick up a few of these straps. I think I asked you about them before, but never pulled the trigger. Looks great!

Thanks! This is an original Bonklip whereas the previous is a modern Forstner remake. Just a word of caution on the originals - due to what I guess were engineering tolerances at the time, the endlinks may not fit exactly. I bought this bracelet actually for the previous Longines I posted and the endlinks are just slightly too wide to fit. Thinking whether I should shave down the sides slightly to make it fit or just buy a 15mm bracelet as well.

Finally a Longines popped up in a local auction and I was successful in bidding. Think brexit and covid limited the number of bidders here.

This is a great thread. Loving the chronos and all the Longines especially this one and the sector dial.

My contribution for today, a reverse panda Desotos, Valjoux 7753 I think.

happy new year guys!

Incoming..... (Auction pics)

Best part is the incredibly rare original bracelet. The crown here is replacement so I'm on the hunt for the original crown, which is also uber rare

Longines from the roaring twenties. Seriously considering buying this even though I am not a watch guy. Seller wants approx 320 USD, what do you guys think?
