Vintage Watch Thread (Pre-1990's watches only)

I don't think I've purchased a watch in over a decade. These are three of my favorites from years past. Two are are Jaeger LeCoultre and one is a Vacheron Constantin. I'm thinking the newest is the JLC Gentlehomme in the center. It's about the 1990 cutoff.

As an inaugural post I am posting a very recent acquisition of a 1970's Gallet Chronograph with an EP-40 movement and what I am dubbing a Andes Mint Chocolate dial.

Was so shocked when I saw it. It looks like a re-lume but it is not. It’s 100% original. The only change to it is the polishing of the crystal.

Spirit is right. Wow. That could easily be an 1800’s Patek. I know pocket watches don’t get as much love, but the movements are amazing.

I have a 1920’s Ball Railmaster and while I don’t wear it much, I use it as a “clock” on my dresser.

One of my all time favorite dials, another Gallet (by Racine), which would later become Enicar, which is just Racine backwards. Sliver dial and blued steel hands. Excelsior Park 40-68 movement.
