Great coat, VG. Do you ever get a chance to wear it?

Unfortunately, Alan, it's a bit too large for me. I've thought about getting it tailored, but the dearth of cold days in Galveston hardly makes it worth it.

Never mind getting a chance to wear the coat, do you ever wear the western shirt and neckscarf? Thank you for sharing.

The shirt I've worn, most recently to the Continental Club in Houston. I haven't worn the scarf, but both of my children have on Go Texan Day.

Since it hit 80 degrees today here in Galveston, a little vintage resort wear--an early 50s shirt and a pair of 50s Hollywood waist trousers.

Car thermometer said 86 here. That's just not right in north Texas in NOVEMBER.

Not as a complete enterprise, but I happened upon these at local estate sales and couldn't pass them up.

You're best bet would be to go to a Salvation Army or other thrift store
