For Sale is one of few Original 1999 issued Stone Island NOC-1 Article No 30154G37 featuring the coveted and heavily sought after rubber injection molded hood. (inspired by the WWII Italian gas mask helmet) This is a 16 year old grail gem piece so note that its in the best condition it can be given the age and history of the article. Truly one of a kind fashion collector's item.

First and maybe last you'll see on the market which is one of Paul Harvey’s most iconic pieces. Made in the UK and Size as XXL but fits perfectly with size measurements below in between a modern Big Medium or Large or a small XL. Mainly due to the vintage fit of the 90's, imagine it being like an vintage denim jacket with the large sleeves.

Its an Amazing piece and I hate to let this go but I'm working hard to make space in my house. This is what I consider a Vintage Piece in Stone Island Archives and they will probably never make this again!!! The material in a jersey cotton with a silver lining that has since faded due to time. The Limited Edition vintage jacket is amazing to the touch and put together with the best hand-made quality!!!

For most, I think the issue with the NOC-1 is that it was thought of as an interesting hood on a plain jacket. Personally, this has always been what made the NOC-1 so appealing to me. I think that this has always been the strength of the SI design sensibility. Straddling the fine line between looking functional and looking like a costume.

Of course no one collects the NOC-1 for the jacket. The hood of course its the star feature of this piece. And makes it without a doubt one of the most recognizable Stone Island pieces ever produced.

How It’s Made: While injection molding might seem boring, its actually quite an interesting art form in itself. From the original shape of the gas mask a sculpt for the mold was created. From the original sculpt the steel molds are made. In the case of the NOC-1, a 3 part mold was created, consisting of a cavity mold and left and right core molds. The cavity is surrounded by left and right core parts and between the mold parts is about a 1/8″ of empty space.

Once the mold is closed, pellets of neoprene are heated to become molten and injected into the mold at high pressure to fill in the empty gaps between the core and cavity mold parts. Once the neoprene cools the core parts separate leaving the hood on the cavity mold and it is peeled off. As you can tell from the process described that lots of work goes into producing one of these jackets.

This is a Beautiful Well Cared for Condition Product and stored in the closet over the last couple years. I bought it as a collection piece so its been stored in my closet and it has aged well.

Hand Made in ITALY and is Definitely Going to be the Most Beautiful Jackets you will Ever Own and will last you a Life Time! It has the ability and taste for fresh events as well as casual encounters so congrats in advance to the next owner.

A Classic Addition to any closet and really speaks for anyone who walks into a room. EVERYONE wants a Stone Island NOC-1 Jacket but most will never have a chance to own one so here is your chance today! I wouldn't be letting these go if not for the need of space in my closet so I'm passing the savings onto whoever is lucky enough to win this!

STONE ISLAND NOC-1 RUBBER HOOD Rarely Available Now here at $2800!!!

Note that this jacket is what I consider Stone Island Vintage collection is Amazing to the touch in person and pictures don't do the level of quality Justice!!!
