I purchased these in the early 90's when RRL had a store in Macy's Herald Square......no rips, snags, tears or fading of any kind....100% wool, made in Canada.....they came pre-hemmed,and have brace buttons sewn on........the measurements are as follows....
length-43 1/4 with 2 inches to let out
waist 31 with 2 inches to let out
leg opening 9 1/4
rise is 15 inches
It has what I think is referred to as a fishtail waist.......perfect for that upcoming Rugby Tweed Run...money back if not satisfied, minus shipping....feel free to ask any ? pertaining to the pants,thanks.....

Update 10/7/11-Sold to a SF member with an eye for vintage style and quality......

They have a higher rise,of course ,because they are meant to be worn with braces.....pretty full in the seat and thigh.....they drape really well due to the weight of the fabric.....I'd wear these with some Wolverine 1000 mile or LL Bean Signature cap toe boots and look the Dickens.....I just made that one up......ha
