    I was given these by my parents in my Early teen years. As far as I know they were my Grandpa's. There is the B&L Ray Ban USA on the top(the bridge?). On the underside of the bridge there is also something there, just can't quite read it.

    Appreciate any info!

    Hello, musehead
    I bought this pair if Ray Bans almost a year ago & have been curious as to their authenticity & year they were made. They seem authentic since I've checked all the major signs & I've been told by some friends that they're the real deal, but I wanted to double-check & see if you could tell me when you think they were made?[IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

    Thanks for any help!

    hi oosterling, here are the pictures of the etchings. The right lens has a pretty standard BL etching, but the left lens is very grainy. It does look like it could make the proper BL but obviously looks wrong. Does the etching wear away at all? I could really do with some help on these since I need to return them if they are fake. Also the fantasees is raised on the lens, is this standard or should it be level with the lens? Mant Will,W

    @christmas2010

    I'd say the fantasees look fine.

    Thank you both, it's helped clear a couple of issues I had with them. Glad I don't need to return them, they are mint and look good.

    @oosterling

    Yeah those Chromax don't look right, the Lightning looks off slightly so would agree with you there. The fantasees on that Ebay link also don't look right! The Fantasees lettering is all off. I don't like this seller, it be tempted to report some of his items on there.
