I have a vintage Goyard one, that is of a more elegant shape, IMo, that I love.

That trunk looks pretty beat up.

In any case, if you can afford a Park Avenue apartment and a Tuscan villa, you don't need to buy "vintage" luggage on eBay. If you're that wealthy and a shoe freak "to boot," then why not swing by the LV store and commission your own shoe trunk?

It'll run ya 15-20k in a good leather. Less in the blingy canvas.

A bargain considering you may be carrying around $50,000+ in shoes in the case.

Better yet, keep a separate collection of shoes at your villa.

PM the seller.  Tell him/her you'd take it off his/her hands for five bucks.

Some people prefer to use vintage luggage.

Marlene Dietrich kept her shoes in a Vuitton trunk under her piano.
