Having read on the "What does your wife wear thread" about the fair number of wifes/fiancees/girlfriends who favor vintage clothes, I'm inspired to offer this dress up. I've always lamented that I haven't found a good home for this. My bride likes the cut and style of the dress, but the color isn't quite right for her and the dress is just a touch too large. Surely one of our better halves (or even one of our small handful of female members) can get use out of it. Fabienne?
This is available free of charge to the first SF member in the U.S. who PMs me. I'll even spring for shipping.
BNWT/deadstock, this is a classic 50s shirt dress, with 3/4 sleeves, a camp collar and a full pleated skirt. It's made of a slightly polished cotton, and the fabric is a maroon, grey, olive and brown stripe with a black fleur-de-lis overprint.
Mesurements:
Bust is a little hard to measure; this would work well for a 36
45" long
27.5" waist
22" sleeves from the top of the collar
Mrs. Vintage Gent is modeling the dress, and she's a pretty true modern size 4. This would probably work well on a modern size 6.
