Yes, I was with my father and uncle.
Undoubtedly important in Sweden, a small country with little presence in boxing,
correct? Now football (soccer) is another story.
In those bygone days Championship Fights were often held in sports stadiums.
Seats were plentiful and not that expensive. We were sitting fairly close
to the ring where the price was much higher.

You are correct, may have something to do with proffessional boxing being banned in Sweden. But yes, we are a small country and have a smaller selection of true talents.

No. 2 appears to be Clark Gable. He looks great in that pic - better than the Duke of Windsor below him, in my opinion. Gable's full trouser leg just looks better than the Duke's anemic-looking pants. Although he would certainly fit right in today, would'nt he?

The Duke of Windsor, at the time of the photos, the Prince of Wales, is depicted in the early-mid 1920s, I believe.
Gable's trousers look like the early mid 1940s when the style was for full trousers.
