1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

What is this from? He's leaning on a Mercedes-Benz R107. Could be anywhere from '71 to '89 if he's leaning on a new car. I'm trying to get closer on the age of the car. The bundt wheels preclude it from being a 560SL so it's likely pre 1986. U.S. version based on the USDOT bumpers visible on the back. I'm guessing that it's an early 80's 380SL.

I've been watching The Roosevelts this week and been enjoying the 1920s style. Narrow shoulders, high collar, body hugging jackets, stovepipe trousers. Kind of a nice counterpoint to the 1930s-40s broad shoulder drape cut stuff that came next. Some of these suits could pass the Pitti test if you added a bit more flare and crazy fabrics. Buster Keaton had great style.

This Reagan one is great and surprising, in a good way. It doesn't look 80s dated at all. It is also very well proportioned for him. He looks outstanding.

That's a timeless suit. Myself being not a fan of the soft shoulder and slim fit craze of lately, love some drape.
