Does anyone have experience removing green corrosion from shoelace eyelets? Can it just be brushed off?
Looking at this pair, but wondering if the eyelets would be a bigger problem than I'm ready to deal with.

Maybe sunshine on the darker shoe only would lighten it up to match the other? December is a tough month to test that theory, especially with all these rainy days, but I wonder. The always awesome and appropriate 93605 today. One shoe is darker than the other. Someone on the Facebook group suggested putting them out in the sun to lighten them. He had amazing results. I may try this a little at a time. I’ll post results. View attachment 1296747
