That's a rare pair. They looked like they were in good condition in the photos. Hopefully they fit well.Incoming: J&M shell saddles. I told my set that I didn’t really like saddles. But I thought that these being shell ... plus the $75 shipped price... plus lots of you gents making them look good... plus being on @davidVC ‘s list = my mind changed. I told myself I didn’t like tassel loafers too. I own two pair of those now. https://ebay.to/33UKlru View attachment 1282278
These may just be the most interesting vintage shoes I've seen. The seller has three pairs of these 1960s Florsheims in Purple, Red, and Green.

They're fabulous! Shoes appear to be unworn. Both soles have the letter "D" on the bottom (faintly). Fabric, bow tie, and heels are in fantastic shape.www.ebay.com
Thanks to you and your list for alerting me to them. The pair I’m wearing today looks to have a similar last. It’s a sleeker last than some other saddles I’ve seen. I think I’ll like them. That's a rare pair. They looked like they were in good condition in the photos. Hopefully they fit well.
Oddball Golden Harvests arrived today. They are indeed covered in polish. Would love to know the story here. I put a little Reno’Mat to the toe cap on one - these are salvageable, but it’s gonna take some elbow grease to get there and there will always be some “patina” in the brogue holes. Should make for an interesting look.I am betting they are covered in polish. I think the lighter colors would not poke through like that if they had been dyed. Looking forward to more pictures.
