@suitforcourt gave me a heads up, but I did not see if for several hours and by then they were gone. Thanks what happens when you don’t come to the thread every 20 minutes.

You snooze, you lose. Take it as a life lesson.

Uh, they are selvedge jeans from Uniqlo. Nothing fancy or vintage. I hemmed them a bit too short and can't roll the cuffs to show off the selvedge without showing too much socks. :p

I don’t cuff my jeans. Selvedge or not.

I usually don't cuff my jeans either, but I was going to give it a try with this pair since they are selvedge... and all the cool kids are doing it, so...

I have never been cool. Won’t start trying now.

Well, in the current Style Forum poll I voted for wearing boots with jeans, so I figured I should walk the walk.
Allen Edmonds Dundee shell chukka boots on casual Friday.

Have a great one, fellas!
Thanks for the inspiration @Oshare. These are bourbon and are officially due for cleanup (unlike yours, which of course look superb today!). HappyFriday, fellas.

WOW! The shell game is strong today!

Dang those Bourbon shell boots are GREAT! That's a gorgeous color!

HA! I know exactly what you mean. I have never been cool either. In fact, I noticed something that proves this.

I caught a reflection of myself this morning in the elevator. I guess I had not noticed the whole thing before I left my house. I have, apparently, turned into one of my law professors.

I knew I wanted to wear my vintage suede Florsheim wingtips today. And it is a little cold today so instead of wearing a coat, I wore a tweed Sport coat.

SO, I'm wearing 1960's Suede wingtips, with a Tweed Sport coat (with elbow patches) and I need a haircut so my hair is at that middle-aged-man-trying-to-capture-his-rebellious-days length. If I was smoking a pipe and driving a Volvo I would be a caricature!

Based on the information on vcleat, these are Made to Order from 1967.

Found these. Thought they looked odd/unusual.

Hm. Some lighter color poking through...

Golden Harvest special makeup? Is that just polish over them or dye? I’m hoping it’s just polish. For the price I figured it’s worth a look.

And yes, I do cuff selvedge jeans a little bit. These are Gap 1969 with Kaihara denim.

I have four pairs of these, all bought at the end of the month when Gap coughs up big discounts. The fabric develops a good fade with lots of tate-ochi texture. Also referred to as slubs

That is the plan. Will post updates.

Gotta say, with this early blast of winter, using the usual solvents will be a challenge.

I do my work in the garage. It is still freezing, but better than nothing.

In my future dream house, my shoe lab will have a big window with an exhaust fan, AND a big fume hood used in industrial kitchens.

One day.
