They look like what Dacks calls Water Bison, so calling them Buffalo is likely correct. Nice shoes!!!

That was me @instigateur ! Been loving them for years, but never saw a Golden Harvest in my size. Will let you guys know how they really are when they come in. Now to find a Forest!I took to long to pull the trigger on these. I'm hoping one of you bought them. @M635Guy ?

Couldn’t imagine being in the size 8-10 range. So many more available to those guys, I’d be broke
I'm 9D - right in the middle of the bell curve. More supply, but also more demand. That is the downside to being a EEE. Florsheim and others made few styles in EEE. On one hand it stops me from buying too many shoes. On the other hands, I will never get the PTB, the Golden Harvest, etc, etc.
I am size 8.5-9 and yes,I am brokeCouldn’t imagine being in the size 8-10 range. So many more available to those guys, I’d be broke
But you’re a helluva barber @Thomas CrownI am size 8.5-9 and yes,I am broke
I have to say, Docs shell collection does inspire me. #8 loafers however, no thanks. You think vintage Canadian made shoes is a rabbit hole? Shell is a very deep hole. An abyss in fact. I'm at 5 pairs right now. I would not bat an eye if I end up with 100.
I have never been so seriously disappointed by my wide feet.
