Damn, that is a heartbreak we have all had. Those are beautiful. You may wish to update your post to say what the printed size and width is so that interested members can send you a Personal Message.

I've been eyeing a few pairs in my size. One of the few vintage brands that offers EEE widths.

@davidVC did a teardown and believes they were made by Hanover.

The Stanford’s are not made by Hanover. At least not in a Hanover factory. In the end, all those makers were buying from the same mass production factories. Lotsa units at low price

Late 1940’s woven oxfords by Mason Velvet-eez. I actually went through a half dozen pairs of woven before settling for this one. The weaving is pretty cool.

Hi

WTB or swap?

If this is not acceptable , I ask the moderators to remove this post.

I have an event that I will be attending to , theme is The Roaring 20's ... I am thinking about a Spectator Shoe ... 9.5D or 9E (preferred)... I am not too sure it will be a shoe I would wear a lot... Find the style a bit ..much (Sorry ) but for this occasion? Yes, and an excuse to add one more vintage to my collection ;). Perhaps cloth/leather combination but leather/leather is good too and in my opinion, more wearable without calling attention. Thinking brown, but black and white could be OK, I guess....

Anyone ? PM please.
Thanks in advance

Peace.

Trying to find a vintage spectator shoe on short notice is a tall mountain to climb. You will likely have a better fit and wider choice with going for a new spectator. Jump over to Allen Edmonds website to check out their limited edition selection for their 100 year anniversary. Don't be slow as it will end soon. You can get the look you want and great fit. Nobody at the event will think they are not vintage.

Struggling to learn how to post here I inadvertently left out this vital info. The size is 12 A.
I am attempting to add a file I made with Photoshop from the eBay listing.

Footjoy Brown Oxfords.jpg

Reading in this forum for a while, I got the impression that Footjoy was a premium brand; this pair certainly checks a lot of boxes for high quality.

Back to work Tuesday. These are Hartt PTBs in Prairie oxhide. A nice pair to give some diversity in my mostly LWB collection.
