How about another pair for Wingtip Wednesday.

I had to run a quick errand at lunch and figured I should not wear my house shoes. These Handsome LWB are always a reliable choice. Not fancy but still versatile.

1965 Florsheim 93602 with some added patina.

Received these Florsheim 97626 from Goodwill a couple of days ago. I cleaned them up with VSC and a quick renomat wipe. I was planning on using only neutral collonil cream but I think I may have to add some pigment to even them out. I decided to go with the 90s version hoping to have less issues with the vintage shell.

The Stratford are on my list that I am still searching for. I like them in black and brown.

There is another similar style in Antique Brass that I would love to find.

Speaking of unusual colors/styles:

These Probably the rarest Vintage Florsheim I own.

1967 Florsheim Imperial SUEDE LWB

The style number starts with a dash —241. I have only heard of one other pair from @davidVC. He said he saw a pair that were light blue suede.

Nobleprofessor, as far as I can tell the 93602's are completely unmodified from the factory. The first couple pictures are closer to how they look in person, med-dark brown with some red highlights. They even came with the matching box. Well the bottom part anyway. The leather is surprisingly supple.

I find there is some variations in color, but have theorized this is because they are “hand stained.” The last pair I bought, which were NOS, were darker than I expected. Direct sunlight will lighten them up, but they are pretty dark inside or in the shade. These photos have not been adjusted in any way, just straight from the phone.

Corrected grain is great for rainy days. Same with Dainite Eton soles.

These originally had v-cleats but the CG is pretty good quality.

I think that is the original coloration hand finished by Florsheim

Tradition holds that the first thanksgiving celebrated the bountiful harvest. Hence, my choice today was obvious. Hopefully, everyone has much to be grateful for.

The previous owner added a vibram sole so these could be all weather. 1967/77 Florsheim 93631 Golden Harvest

Happy Friday, fellow enthusiasts. I received the shirts last night. Very well made and the shirt itself is thick.

I also wore my vintage AE Cumberland boots for the first snow fall.

If anyone else is interested in one, there needs to be a minimum 20 order. Hopefully there can be choices for shirt colour in the future.
