Dear all. I am cleaning out my shoe closet and have posted a number of pairs in the B&S section. Mostly made in Canada (Dack's) and one MIUSA pair. All marked size 8, but usually fit a little larger (hence why I am selling as they run a little big for me).

Reasonable offers would also be welcomed. Would also consider meeting up in downtown Toronto.

I also wanted to mention -- I have a pair of vintage alligator Edwin Clapps in dark brown that I am considering selling. No marked size but fits 8D or perhaps even 8.5D.

If anyone is interested I can provide photos and measurements.

I don’t buy shoes out of my size range often. This is the 4th pair. Though the 3rd was only less than a month before. A stress releasing habit that’s becoming more frequent. At some point, I’ll definitely need to cull the herd. Maybe when I find extra time and energy. Probably when the kids go off to college. They are 3 & 5… unless anyone knows who’s interested in adopting 2 Asian kids… holla at me, PLEASE

Presenting Porto-Ped size 3120 or 12C. I think they are 50s based on the style and details of the welts & stitching. The intriguing part about the pair is that they are llama, and the leather is absolutely beautiful. The exotics crave didn’t fully arrive until the 70s and 80s which was decades after. This pair is rare, indeed.

Since they are not my size, it’s a catch & release mission. I try to avoid selling for as long as I can. So if you have something nice in 9.5D or E or 10C or D, I’d be more than happy to trade. I’d even consider throwing in 2 cute Asian kids. Free ship.

e-thrifted these vintage Leeds last night for a song ($40 shipped). these are on, I believe, a now defunct last -- the old 8 last, I guess, which has a soft squarish toe. anyway, planning to dye these when they get here since I have a very similar pair of grain nettletons that are essentially new.

anyone have any interesting suggestions for what to do with them? Golden harvesting is an option (is this verb usage of GH appropriate? feels a bit like in the Olympics when the announcers talk about "meddling", which invariably bugs the crap out of me...)

Anyway, other good ideas? Some type of fade? Not sure how it would look on such a plain shoe.

Thanks, I really had no reason to buy them, honestly. Boredom? haha. If they land and don't fit happy to let you know before I mess with them. They were dirt cheap and minimally worn.
Thank you Sir! I’m suffering from that same affliction. I passed on them because I just grabbed a pair of Sheltons that were unusually inexpensive and in great shape. I’m trying not to fall down this rabbit hole. Lbvs!

I think that I was looking at those sheltons myself but I keep buying saddles, not wearing them, and reselling so took a pass. Would like to try a pair of the Alden derby saddles one of these days, which I think would work better for me. Enjoy those sheltons!

I will try! Alden’s NST saddles are definitely on my list. I’m trying to hold out for a pair in an “exotic” shell cordovan. Fingers crossed. Lol!

Dang... add these to the I-should've-grabbed-these annals. I saw them first thing this morn, asked the seller if they'd take an offer, the seller wrote back, but by the time I saw the message they were gone. And it was all to save a few bucks...

1985 AE Polo with Kudu saddle (8254). I think these are on the 674 last, which doesn’t appear to still be in use. All of AE’s saddles are on strange lasts that don’t quite work for me. But they look great!

EDIT: It's the same last as the Nassau and Belgium. Not a big fan.

John McHale for Florsheim. A nice style beyond LWBs and PTBs.
