Someone get a nice score. Hope it was Joe.
I saw those and debated some DIY reconstructive foot surgery to make them fit. Amazing score.

Whoa, it was still available when you saw them? I would have snag just to see how good they were in person. And surely it would be easy to resell.

Happy Friday forum pals. The UPS fairy squealed to a stop in front of the house and dropped off a box. This was the BEST wrapping of shoes I have ever seen. In plastic bags, wrapped in news paper, taped all around, placed in a box with padding and then the whole box was wrapped in paper as well. After 8 minutes of opening the box I saw this wonderful pair of NOS 97625 Royal Imperial LWBs. Date code is FC, so these are from June 1992, before they started saying assembled in USA. I picked them up last weekend off the Ebay. I made him a nice offer which was accepted immediately. As I have stated before, it is best to give thought as to what you would be willing to pay for an item if it ever pops up. This allows careful contemplation, but then to immediately pull the trigger once you find it. Some sun and shade picks.

Been dying to wear these early 1960s Dack’s zebu u-wings (“The Cambridge”). I finally got half soles installed so they are ready for prime time. These were a grail pair for me. Thanks, @Jiqea, for sending them my way.
