No, the vast majority are not shell, but hanover's 4 digit numbering system is thoroughly documented, so shell pairs can easily be identified if you cannot tell my looking at the uppers or outsoles.
Thanks.

Left too quickly. Forgot to take a picture...

The shell are also beautiful shoes. I love my PTB.

Given this toe angle should I water bath these? There is a tree in it with pic. Can you do that to a 92604?

Yes, you can do a water bath on those shoes. I have done it before on that same shoe. However, I think most of the change would be seen in the uppers as opposed to the sole. If it really bothers you, it can be tried.

Thanks. The toes have a weird wrinkle in them. My assumption is from not being treed and the resulting metatarsal-phalangeal extension as they dried ;)
I’ll give it a try.

I've had several pairs of these Nettleton loafers over the years. On the older pairs, the size information was hand marked, so it's possible the markings wore off. The machine printed size information does not wear off easily on Nettleton shoes.

Your pair looks to be in quite good condition, so its entirely possible that your pair was not marked, or they're not marked in an obvious way, although for Nettleton that would be unusual.

When it comes to size estimation, I've found that these loafers run on the narrower side, which can further complicate estimating the size. Without a good host of other shoes to compare to, I think it will be challenging to narrow down what size these shoes are precisely.
Thanks for the info, these definitely seem to be on the narrow side. Were yours also Gator? Also, on my other vintage Nettleson's, they are marked Nettleson on sole. These appear to say "cox shank"? with what appears to be a patent number?not really sure, maybe they are MTO?

Yes, I referring specifically to my experience with the split toe alligator loafers by Nettleton. I have never seen that sole before on any nettleton shoe. Can you post a full picture?

... but ma, all of the cool kids are doing it!!!

Remember fellas, with great power comes great responsibility!

PS: for context, chapter 68 is Head & Neck Infection while chapter 70 is Infections on Immuno Compromised Patients. The flow is absolutely unrelated to STD for chapter 69. Must appreciate a good sense of humor ?
