Thanks. High praise indeed coming from you! I believe them to be 9C. I should have them in hand no later than next Monday. I will post better photos after I get them hydrated.
Wow, they’re even a reasonable size, almost everything I see from that era in unworn condition is something crazy like a 6B

Vintage Nunn Bush size 9.5 D. My size; hence, I hope someone’d pick it up please (not my listing). I’m on the verge of sleeping on the couch if buying more shoes. My boss has spoken. I think it’s 60s, but could be wrong. I have been off my game lately.

You will rue the day that you didn’t purchase the vintage NBs. They’re pretty awesome.

(Stored next to NOS AE Bedfords from the golden era).

Thank you for looking out, sir. Someone else must have picked them up. Coincidentally, I won the exact same pair from a raffle hosted by @mormonopoly. They are being shipped in a gift box with a personal congratulating letter... oh the length we go to avoid sleeping on the couch.

Two fine examples of Wisconsin shoemaking. Those AEs may have been made in Belgium,WI before a fire moved the factory to Port Washington WI. The NB were made 7 blocks due west of my house in Milwaukee. The old NB factory is apartments now. I drove past it for years without being aware of it’s history until I entered the world of vintage shoe appreciation. It’s so amazing to discover what once existed in your own backyard!

Whereabouts in Milwaukee was the factory? I’m curious, being a former resident.

I was trying to see what shoes Biden wore for the inauguration. I know many prior presidents wore Allen Edmonds Park Avenue. Apparently, Obama wore Cole Haan - not made in the USA. I don’t know what President Trump wore.

This week I'm wearing a new addition to my collection. These spectators were made by Lee Kee, the famed bespoke maker out of Hong Kong. They look to have been worn just a handful of times, and came with the original box and receipt from 1958. The construction is excellent as expected, but what really impressed me was the leather, which might be the smoothest I've ever felt.

I suspect you have to be in great business to have a phone number in 1958 in Hong Kong which at the time only had 5 digits. This is so awesome!!!
