I commend you for your well intentioned offering. Some shoe Appreciation is prob a much needed relief. The question is, would the gentleman be able to raise his leg up? Asking for a friend.

yes I can lift my leg up. Immediately post op the pain was incredible but only to be expected. I do physio three times a day and one of the exercises involves lifting my leg up.
One of the things I plan on continuing is using a urinal. Peeing in bed is great! Another mountain top, eh guys?
it gets better day by day. I over medicated this morning so I was in another world. Great, eh?

Hang in there. Relax, save your energy. When it’s PT time, give it your best, but don’t push it. A lots of quality recovery come from PT ? You will develop a love/hate situation, but always remember your therapist wants the best for you. If it’s not a good fit personality wise, DM me. Maybe my attending might have recommendations in your area. Come back often. We always have corny jokes ready ?

Looking great ? Coincidentally, some good friends alerted me to a pair of Warton only a couple days ago which was thought to be late 60s. I’ll definitely share pics when they arrive

Well, it is shell for sure. The number does say 97626. But the 97626 was a #8 color, not black. This may just go down as "one of those things we will never be able to explain."

I can see more color 8 when I look at the tongue. May look different after the clean up. crazy.

These arrived today. I have needed brown PTBs for a while for casual/beater use. I think these will serve that purpose nicely. A little sad about the one scratch on the toe, but I knew they weren’t perfect. I’ll be putting a heel tap, or at least some tippy material over the v-cleat, I’m not as young and agile as I used to be!

Thanks for the good thoughts. I must admit that to some people jokes are corny but the same joke to another would be high wit. Look at Oscar Wilde and he was a really dirty bugger.

I can see the 8 in it at the heel. About to take the renomat to it! It’s covered in gunk. Might take all night - more beer and 80s tunes! Probably be all faded out but we’ll see
