I don’t have any LB Shepherd shoes (Hanover). I understand they were the premium line of Hanover. I found these LWB and I can understand why they have a great reputation. These are nice shoes! I wish I could find some in my size!

Size 9.5D if anyone is looking for a pair.

They are kangaroo. Use bit of 400 grit sandpaper to erase the raised scuffs and then do the usual forum "treatment".

Regardless of the manufacturer (with some exceptions), Cigar Shell is very desirable! Those are good looking!

Florsheim MTO in golden harvest. One of the nicest GH colorations I’ve seen from the factory. Has some medallion damage on the left toe, otherwise very good. Available, size 11.5D.

Those do look good! I need to figure out a color of polish so I don’t make mine tan. The color of these is nice!

I have two pairs of LB Sheppherd shell cordovans and they are friggin' comfy as hell and extremely well made.

I've the plain toe blucher and the LWB.

Sadly, these aren't in my size, but hope you find someone who can use them!

Alan McAfee for Bullock & Jones San Francisco shortwings that I thrifted a while back, then put new soles and combination (AKA "McAfee") heels on. This is the good kind of CG coating that some english makers use. I've sold some C&J pairs that had a similar finish and were also high quality.

I think these are 80's vintage. The calligraphy looks like they were made after McAfee sold to Church's, who eventually retired the brand. Or "rusticated" it as they sometimes say in England.

I got this pair of McAfee last summer. It's said '' real cape buck". I did a research and believe it's made of soft sheepskin. The sole looks totally changed but feels alright.

Can't really see the production year from the numbers though. I assume they are from the 90's.

Any ideas? Thank you!

I didn't know Mason made shoes for Lee Kee in Hong Kong. The new thing I learned today.

The summer just won't die. Or it's going out with a roar.

In the mornings, I can wear pants and shoes. Afternoons I transition to shorts and sandals.

Pulled out my Florsheim PTBs. The sole protectors and new rubber heels make these so much easier to wear. I no longer give the skating performance on slippery floors.
