Seen these already?

Does 9C work for you with thin socks?

I did see the 9Ds. They are in great shape. They are CG. I know some people are fine with quality CG but For some reason, I’m not too excited about them. The third pair you listed are fantastic. If those Were D width I’d be all over them. I’m finding that my foots getting even wider as I get older. So, even with those thin socks, C is too narrow. @Thomas Crown might be interested.

Vintage violation. Modern miUSA Bostonian. I tried to add a hint of highlight to a black Florsheim LWB but acetone didn't remove any thing from black. So I tried on these Bostonian since it was more matte black and might absorb some dye.

I slathered some blue on hoping to see some midnight blue or purple coming out. Any noticeable change or do they still look just plain black?

AE sharkskin Wartons from 1985. These were puke yellow when I got them. I dyed them brown. I conditioned them with Saphir reptan. They join 25 other pairs in my personal top-5 favorite shoes.

My first pair of vintage :)

Here is a before and after. Wipe/clean, condition with bick 4 (lots), little boning ;p and finished off with VSC, edge dressing and new laces. They were in good shape to start so didn't need too much work. But I have to say it was a bit appalling opening then up with the dirt and the musty smell. I guess I better get used to it if I want more.

1967 pair of 93605s. Can't wait to get these out on the road.

Thanks @jpm1 for the advice!

is this a good deal?
Someone on the Facebook Allen Edmonds page is selling Alden NST for $185 plus shipping. The uppers look good. The soles are worn but not too bad. I don’t own any Aldens. So I’m sort of tempted.
