I meant Cohn, but autocorrect changed it to the (technically more correct spelling of the surname) Cohen. If Roy Cohn were alive, he would have immediately sued Tim Cook, claimed he was a communist agent, all while simultaneously trying to go out with him.

I am a history geek, and have also been re-watching the original Unsolved Mysteries episodes with Robert Stack. They had quite a few segments on double agents and espionage during the Cold War.

Even in Canada, the red scare was taken seriously. This is a real ad for toilet paper:

I picked up these nice pair of Hanover western boots for a song on Ebay.

Plus, they've a 270 degree welt and a fiddle back waist. I've never worn shoes with this high of a heel before, but I am sure I will be stylin' at the next hootenanny for sure.

Anyone have any information on this model from Hanover, though? it's model 2688.

Is councilor Bailey still amongst the living?

Yes he is. He was disbarred in 2001 in Florida and 2003 in Massachusetts. He is now 87 and runs a “consulting service“ in Maine with his girlfriend.

Wikipedia says he is still alive. I have relied on Wikipedia for their veracity and authentic information for years now.

In fairness, especially based on what we learned from the declassified NKVD/KGB archives, it wasn’t entirely imagined. That doesn’t excuse the tactics of the likes or Roy Cohn (a person my father bested in court, BTW; a family friend was subject to one of Roy’s many frivolous lawsuits, my father represented him).

Recently scored a VERY rough looking pair of these 1981 Polo for short money.

Just a brutally dyed and extremely poorly cared for pair of shoes...

So I sent them to Alberto Suarstez (insta: @patinaworksaz) to bring these back to life. I think that he did an incredible job with these!

I have a decent sized shoe collection that had neither a saddle nor blue shoe in the rotation so these are a pretty sweet addition. Definitely didn’t have any wildebeest either for that matter!
