I actually have to purge a few pairs and flip them. I realize that 70+ pairs is getting ridiculous.

BUT, If you were my client, I would advise you to note for the record that you also sold two pair! Since Customs is only aware of one pair that is actually a net loss of 1. You should be rewarded with the purchase of another pair to bring the current total up to the status quo.

I just purchased my first pair since the shelter in place. They are not vintage. They are AE Rutledge from their first edition of the Independence Collection. Very well made shoes. I did buy two watches. Nothing gets passed spousal customs. I get an eye roll every time.

En route: shell AE Bradley. I got these for $67 shipped on Poshmark. They are 9E which might be too wide for my 9D feet, especially since the 511 last is roomy. If they don’t work out I can flip them. EDIT: after doing some reading on the interweb, I see that some people say to go up a width on this last. So these may just work out fingers crossed.

Underrated shoe for sure.

First wearing of these strange cap toe saddle derbies by Madison Square. There's a spot on the left toe that is discolored, and the finish is rubbing off. I tried to blend it the best I could, but I'll probably have to get after if with some acetone.

These have a strange design. The heel and shank are really narrow and the toe box is very wide and almost exaggerated.

I’m wearing Florsheim Varsity 31881 in bookbinder derby leather found on eBay in February. Made in 1984. There is nothing substandard about the materials or build that I can see. They seem as nice as my Imperial models.

As for today,another sunny day for the porch-though not vintage,Allen Edmonds reintroduced a version of the Strawfut leather and nylon mesh spectator from the late 50’s about ten years ago.
