Now, I'm no physicist, but the time after buying something from eBay and the time it arrives at your house is longer than normal time.
This is true. If the doctors ever give me three months to live I am going to order 100 beautiful shoes from eBay. That beats my second option of spending the time with my ex-wife. However if you threw her mother into the mix I would be damn near immortal.

Another day in the office, holding down the fort... but it may be WFM tomorrow, so today I put on shoes that would give me enough of a boost to see me through a shoeless mid-week break from the office.

These are my old battered and beat up 93606s that I had rebuilt with a new welt and JR soles by Orange Heal (sic) in Tokyo. The cordovan is very supple and I recently conditioned them so there is lots of bloom. Will need to give them a good brushing at home tonight.

Why would second choice be spending time with the ex wife?

Because spending time with the ex seems like an eternity.

Thanks. Man, I have WFH brain. I am not processing majority of things on the internet these days.

60s-era black pebbled LWBs... in lizard? Those exist???

No, there are black pebbled calfskin LWBs and brown lizard golf shoes. Two different pairs.

I love your article!

Why thank you @AubreeReynolds and welcome to the style forum and the vintage thread. As already mentioned, we look forward to any pictures and all are willing to answer questions. Except 1 or 2 grumps who know who they are. :rotflmao:

Does anyone know who makes the Stafford shoe for JC Penney?

Having unpacked my sewing stuff, it looks like it is time to construct some custom masks for wearing to the store. There is some information on it on the main landing page of SF, and this saves the store bought kind for medical people. They require cotton, wool and silk. Sounds like a job for some unused shoe bags and silk pocket squares I have not been using. I will whip up one in the morning.

Hey hey, it's not a crime to be a grump.

Thrifted these Mansfields awhile back, I think they have some kind of shiny coating on them. I have no experience with coated leather shoes so was wondering how to care for them. Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.
