Hanover PTBs in shell. A cobbler added grommets, lulu taps, rubber sole protectors, and replaced the ribbing.

Edwin Clapp alligators today. I always wear slimmmer pants. They show off the shoes. I dread when baggy pants come back in fashion - and they will - because it’s harder for people to see the glory that adorns our feet.

Your laces need to be tightened more. They are too loose Lautrec.
interesting observation. I can't make them tighter without the shoes becoming uncomfortably tight. I'd like to think I tie a pretty nice Parisian knot, though the pictures do not reflect my best work.

Hanover L.B. Sheppard PTBs.

These have some water staining I’d like to try to remedy. Has anyone had luck with the full water soak or glycerin treatment to remove water stains from shell cordovan?

Try this: Damp towel, and scrub at the water spots. Let dry. Then apply Bick 4. Lots of vigourous brushing in between.

Others swear by Collonil 1909 for conditioner, which apparently helps prevent water marks.
