@The Apostle you should buy these from @Jiqea without hesitation. They are awesome.

I think I just figured out what the NOS Florsheims are. There is a listing for them on ebay. They are the Varsity (maybe brown Cortez?). 1982 is right!

Vcleat.com says Cortez leather. What is that?

I need to tap the considerable creativity of this group.

The Footjoy golf shoes from @Hotel Cali has reignited my desire to turn some FJ golf shoes into dress shoes. But, I’m also interested in taking a white pair and dyeing them.

I’m not sure I want to do just one color. I’m thinking of two tone. But, I’m not completely decided. I have an old pair of FJ that are white. They have some cool details. But, are boring.

here’s a picture of a similar pair.

I don’t want to do black and white — too much like typical golf shoes. Any other ideas? Or advice or suggestions?

I successfully dyed a pair of white shoes black. So, I have some experience.

I also have a white FJ on my watch list.

How about dying them red white and blue, or white and gold, or cream and burgundy, our your alma mater color.

Picked up another pair of 93605s as an upgrade for my current pair, which are quite a bit older and much more worn. This pair is from 1985. These are the closest to "new" that I've handled so far. They have about the same amount of wear as my Nettletons (I'll do a side by side later, the Nettletons are a much brighter red and also more chunky looking).

On this pair, the quarters don't seem to be broken in yet. I forgot to take a picture of the soles but the leather across the ball isn't worn down to the stitching. There's some wear to the heels but I'd guess these have less than 20 wears, maybe fewer than 10. Obviously, difficult to know. These are still drying a little from a few coats of Bick4 and VSC. More images to come... These pics aren't great since it's very overcast and we're about to get an inch of rain. :)

Nowhere near my size, but saw these and thought I'd share. Pretty cool looking shoe.
